Study holiday : an exciting way to learn French

My study holiday was back, and this year we headed to Nantes!

This holiday included classes every morning, where we spoke about local information and facts, we practised French speaking and listening.

Afternoons were a mix of visits, walks and discovery of some of the beautiful Nantes attractions and historical sites.

We saw the Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne, the Cathedral, the Musee des Beaux-Arts, had a boat cruise and even visited the Ile des Machines (including an unplanned immersion within the current students manifestations which were peaceful until police forces sent tear gas all over the place).

All over the week, food was also an important part for all of us as we dined in a variety of very different restaurants, all with incredible food.

Because of the current political tensions and the Presidential election coming up in 6 months time, I am yet to decide where and when to do my next Study holiday. So don’t hesitate to visit this page once in a while just to see!
