French face to face classes French Flair Classes Durham

Bonjour and welcome to your new French adventure !

I am a native French speaker from the Paris region who has been living in the UK for 22 years. After years of teaching French to adults in two well-known North East University, obtaining a PGCLTHE teaching Qualification at Durham University as well as offering private tutoring sessions to teenagers and adults alike, I decided to launch my own French language school : Flair for French.

I started by offering local day and evening classes to Durham adults who wished to learn and / or practise their French skills, I then organised an online book club, monthly immersive baking events and, even started to offer Study holidays in France for those who wanted to practise their French skills in a different way!

Now, I offer online classes to all adults alike, no matter where they are based. Due to relocating, new face to face classes will be taking place on the Isle of Man comes September 2026.

No matter whether you decide to join an online or a face to face class, my aim is always the same : helping you to immerse yourselves in the French language, the french speaking culture and to gain confidence in using my beloved mother tongue.

Angelique is fantastic! I hadn’t spoken French properly for 10 years and she makes you feel comfortable and is very helpful and encouraging. The classes are engaging and the “Bake in French” is brilliant, we had a lot of fun on Saturday making strawberry tarts.
